Presentation :
At the crossroads of sociology and psychology, Rebecca Levy Guillain offers a therapeutic space dedicated to individuals whose personal lives have been marked by violence, the weight of social norms, silence, or shame.
A Doctor of Sociology and psychotherapist, she has conducted over 200 biographical interviews focusing on intimate experiences. Her work is based on attentive clinical listening and an understanding of the social dimensions that permeate individual experiences.
Missions & support
• Individual and couples counseling
• Support for people experiencing gender-based, sexual, or domestic violence
• Interventions and training on gender-based and sexual violence
• Reflection and action on forms of collective care at the intersection of psychological and social well-being
Approach :
Her sociotherapy practice is based on a feminist, inclusive, and non-pathologizing approach. It aims to help people understand what they have experienced, to find meaning in their journey, and to gradually regain their agency.
