Presentation :
Léa Merchez is a psychologist and psychotherapist based east of Toulouse, where she supports women who have experienced violence in a caring and safe environment.
Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, she tailors each approach to the individual's history, experiences, and pace.
Her work aims to support people through the psychological consequences of the violence they have suffered, to restore their self-confidence, and to support their recovery process.
In addition to individual consultations, Léa also facilitates support groups and workshops, providing valuable spaces for sharing, listening, and building resilience. She also leads prevention and awareness initiatives for the general public and professionals.
Missions & support
• Individual therapies (CBT, ACT, EMDR)
• Post-traumatic psychological support
• Support groups and rebuilding workshops
• Violence prevention and awareness
Approach :
Her approach is based on recognized therapeutic methods for treating psychological trauma. She offers a space for listening and support, allowing those she assists to progress at their own pace and gradually regain their bearings and a sense of security.
