Presentation :

Donne di Corsica is a non-profit organization (under the French law of 1901), established in 2020, dedicated to supporting victims of domestic, intra-family, and sexual violence in Corsica.

As a grassroots organization, it works closely with victims, in close collaboration with local institutions, law enforcement, and the justice system, to ensure comprehensive, safe, and continuous support.

Integrated into the Haute-Corse protocol for combating domestic violence and a partner of the National Federation of Women's Solidarity (FNSF), Donne di Corsica operates within the existing protection systems in the region.

The organization also conducts training and awareness campaigns to strengthen prevention efforts and improve the collective response to violence in Corsica.

Missions & support

The association offers multidisciplinary support:

• Individual support for victims
• Extended telephone helpline hours
• Accompaniment to the police station, gendarmerie, and court
• Legal support in conjunction with partner lawyers
• Guidance, information, and social support
• Emergency accommodation if needed

Approach :

Donne di Corsica places the protection of victims at the heart of its work.
Its support is legal, psychological, and social, with the aim of ensuring safe pathways, preventing gaps in care, and preventing relapses into dangerous situations.
