Presentation :

Anne-Laure Casanova is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Corsica, with nearly 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

After several years working in institutions (specialized educational and support services, therapeutic and educational institutes), she now practices privately, supporting individuals experiencing psychological distress, with a particular focus on situations involving violence.

She specializes in supporting victims of violence against women and children, especially in situations of coercive control. Her work is based on an integrative clinical approach, combining cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and EMDR.

Missions & support

• Clinical assessment of situations of suffering and psychological trauma
• Therapeutic support for victims (CBT, EMDR)
• Support in understanding the mechanisms of control and violence
• Support for victims of violence
• Work focused on restoring psychological safety and self-esteem

Approach :

Her approach is based on an integrative clinical perspective, attentive to the psychological, relational, and contextual dimensions of situations involving violence.

She offers a safe, rigorous, and supportive environment, enabling those she works with to better understand the mechanisms of control, regain meaning, and gradually reclaim their agency.

She also pays particular attention to interactions with the judicial, social, and institutional spheres, ensuring that her support is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of the situations.
