Presentation :

Alison Charry, a graduate psychologist from the University of Tours, completed a clinical training program specializing in normal and pathological gerontological psychology, complemented by a double specialization in clinical psychopathology and gerontology.

Trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), systemic therapy, the humanistic approach, relaxation techniques, and personality and neuropsychological testing, she further enriched her practice with university degrees in neuropsychology and numerous specialized training courses: EMDR, advanced CBT, psychological trauma, the cycle of domestic violence, etc.

Missions & support

• Psychotherapy for psychological trauma (CBT or EMDR)
• Couples or family therapy
• Psychological support
• Psychoeducation (mechanisms & cycles of violence)
• Dialectical cognitive therapy for personality disorders and emotional dysregulation
• Support group projects

Approach :

Her experience has led her to support victims of domestic, spousal, sexual, and systemic violence (including sexual and gender-based harassment in the workplace), initially in salaried positions and later in private practice.

Her approach is feminist, inclusive, and tailored to each individual. She also works with couples, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and children and adolescents who are victims of violence or harassment.
